Numerous sources since last Saturday reported of how the serbian tactician has resigned but later came out and refuted the claims as “not true”.

Micho has today held a press conference at Kabira country club to confirm his resignation and termination of his contract with federation of uganda football association (Fufa). Serbain stated ” It is a notice of termination due to non-payment of salaries and allowances”

Micho states “It is 50 months today since I signed a contract with FUFA, My employment contract with FUFA has been terminated due to confidentiality clause in my contract”

According to clause 12d of the said contract, When the federation fails to pay the coach for three months, the coach is free to terminate the contract but the federation still has to pay the debt it owes.

Moments to remember……

He went ahead to thank all the captains he’s worked with “Andy Mwesigwa, Geofrey Massa,Dennis Onyango, Tonny Mawejje” and the entire cranes team.

FUFA confirmed receipt of the termination letter from coach Micho, “FUFA would like to thank Mr. Sredojevic for the services rendered to the Uganda Cranes during his time as coach of the National team”.

Next move……

Micho dismissed rumors of joining a team from Libya as he will communicate his next move earlier on. Most reports points being targeted by South African top side Orlando pirates where he was in 2006.
