Tensions between Jose Mourinho and his young defender Luke Shaw haven’t passed anybody by in the last week, and the player’s brief cameo against Everton looked to be a positive sign.
Shaw was brought on by Mourinho in the latter stages and managed to have considerable impact upon the tie, firing a goal-bound effort in the dying moments of to force Ashley Williams into making a crucial handball error and giving away a penalty.
